The Tauten LineWelder is an exciting new technology extensively engineered to join fishing line together using a polymer sleeve… no knots involved!
This compact, hand-held, USB-chargeable device works on most types of fishing line, including monofilament or fluorocarbon up to 12 lb test and braided line up to 50 lb test, and can even join two lines together.
How does it work?
The LineWelder uses an innovative injection system that molds a polymer sleeve around the ends of a line. Simply run your line through your hook or lure, load your line into the welder and press the GO button! Your LineWeld will be ready to fish with in just 35 seconds. The LineWelder uses a replaceable cartridge
system to supply the custom polymer material for the sleeve.

Knots can be tricky to tie, especially with smaller lines; but the Tauten LineWelder eliminates the need for knots entirely! It’s simple to learn for all ages and levels of skill; anyone can make a LineWeld in just 35 seconds.
The custom polymer material the LineWelder utilizes binds to the surface of the line to join it together without any kinks or bends. Regardless of what knot gets tied, the knot will always be the weakest part of the line, but with the Tauten LineWelder you can expect full line strength, every time. Outrigger Line Clamp
This accessory attaches to the top of the welding handle, allows for easier line management and holds tension on lines during welding to ensure a strong bond. Double-sided clamping system allows both lines to be held in place when attaching two lines together, making the process quick and easy.
Base Mount
A bayonet mount that locks onto the bottom of the welding handle to provide a stable welding platform. Screws and through-holes allow the mount to be attached to a solid surface such as a boat or workbench.
COMING SOON! 25-lb Welding Head
An alternate welding head that locks to the top of the LineWelder handle in place of the standard head, this accessory features a larger cavity that allows for welding of up to 25lb fluorocarbon and monofilament line or 100 lb braided lines.
